Santos has worked in the WRPS Human Performance Improvement department and is currently a Nuclear and Chemical Operator at H2C. Santos is working on his Nuclear Technologies degree at CBC and is looking to work with and get to know more local health physicists and learn from their experiences.
Geoffrey is the ALARA Lead RCT at WESF and has been working in radiation protection for the last years. He is a current student at CBC in the Nuclear Technologies Program. He believes the future is in the nuclear field and that we should all work towards a better tomorrow and wants to help spread knowledge of radiation and radioactive material, so that people aren’t afraid of it.
Paul has been in the radiation protection field over 10 years and brings nuclear power, research, and environmental clean up aspects to our council. Paul is a recent Columbia Basin graduate of the Health Physics Bachelor program.
Xirui Liu is a research associate at the United States Transuranium and Uranium Registries, Washington State University. She holds a bachelor’s degree in medicine and master’s degrees in public health and health informatics. Her current research focuses on applying statistical analysis and simulation to support risk estimation studies in radiation epidemiology and public health.
Grace Hebert is a student in the Nuclear Technology program at Columbia Basin College working toward a bachelor's degree in health physics. She’s interested in health physics because she enjoys science and hands-on problem solving. Outside of school, she runs a book club and enjoys a good poker game. She looks forward to supporting our chapter's growth and success.
